How can I start an indoor garden?

I dont know but Id like to know also. I was thinking about getting an Aerogarden but they are so expensive.
Most veggies do not grow well indoors. They need good ground space and lots of overhead light.
Veggies need to be outdoors, or at least in a greenhouse. Herbs are a good indoor plant, though! Plant them in a 6″ (at least) pot with a hole in the bottom for irrigation. Put the seeds (or a small seedling) in the pot and water WELL! Put in a sunny window and enjoy.
You need a south facing window and/or grow lights to get decent results. Living in a subtropical or tropical climate is actually worse, because the day length is short and the sun is too high to penetrate into the house.
Be aware that using grow lights is not an environmentally friendly way of growing vegetables.
Florissant lights work well for growing lettuce.
It works better with grow light bulbs.
you will need to give them 10-12 hours of light for budding
14-16 for vegitation stage
