There was a study called the Lowell experiment that linked higher crime rate to disorderly environment. Aside from helping to clean up the community, what about guerrilla gardening? Urban arts? Do you think they’ll help? What other things can we do?

    anything positive has to have a positive spin-off. taking pride in your community is often infectious. we had a community garden for a long time and it worked well – plus helped the kids eat fresh vegetables!!~!
